The attorneys of Jardine, Logan & O’Brien, P.L.L.P. are dedicated to providing efficient legal services in a manner that fosters trust, honesty, responsibility, civility, respect and creativity.  Jardine, Logan & O’Brien was founded in 1918 and was located in downtown St. Paul until relocating to Lake Elmo in June 2002.  The primary focus of Jardine, Logan & O'Brien is civil litigation.  Specialty groups and areas of practice allow our lawyers to concentrate their skills to develop expertise in substantive areas of law.

The firm has made it a priority to implement ongoing mentoring programs and flexible policies to meet the needs of employees, balancing work and family.

Lawyer mentoring at Jardine, Logan & O'Brien was provided before mentoring was commonplace.  Jardine, Logan & O’Brien has a long-standing tradition of pairing veteran attorneys with new associates.  This system fosters a working relationship in a caring and professional environment.  That early dedication and philosophy to mentoring lawyers and paralegals, by partners and associates, earned the firm recognition as one of the leading litigation firms in the Twin Cities.  Jardine, Logan & O’Brien mentors with one-on-one relationships, as well as with monthly meetings.  The monthly meetings provide an opportunity to obtain topical information and guidance regarding current projects, or to keep in the mainstream on other developments within the practice of law.

Jardine, Logan & O'Brien was also one of the earliest firms to promote flexible work schedules for both support staff and attorneys, something many traditional law firms were slow to embrace.

The firm’s diverse community service also distinguishes its lawyers and staff.  Jardine, Logan & O'Brien promotes social accountability through its Firm Development Committee.  Jardine, Logan & O'Brien has supported, through time, effort and monies, such programs as Meals on Wheels, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Project Hope (child sponsorship in Guatemala), various shelter meal projects, and a host of holiday drives for local shelters.  The firm’s team approach needed for the success of these programs encourages a positive work environment as well as strengthens the relationships between all employees.
