The mission statement for Rajkowski Hansmeier Ltd. is to provide high-quality legal services which are responsive to the needs and desires of the clients. All members of the firm are committed to the highest ethical standards, respect and community service. Rajkowski Hansmeier can trace its roots to the St. Cloud area as far back as 1896 and has a solid reputation for providing skilled legal services in this area. While the Firm’s practice is primarily litigation focusing on insurance defense, our attorneys practice in all areas of the law including business, governmental law, estate and probate, and employment law. The firm handles cases venued in all counties of Minnesota. Rajkowski Hansmeier also has lawyers licensed in North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Rajkowski Hansmeier has had numerous female attorneys throughout its years and currently has four women attorneys. The firm has a family friendly environment. Rajkowski Hansmeier has implemented a generous maternity/paternity leave policy which allows for full paid leave and credit on firm goals. The working environment remains open and willing to accommodate family activities and values. While the firm has not yet had a female attorney on board long enough for partnership opportunities, the firm currently has long term female attorneys on partnership track. Rajkowski Hansmeier not only has a strong presence in St. Cloud but also in the surrounding communities. The firm has been the City Attorney for Waite Park, Buffalo, St. Joseph, Albany and St. Stephen for many years. The firm provides civil legal services as well as criminal prosecution for most of these jurisdictions. With the firm located in St. Cloud, attorneys are able to become actively involved in the relatively small community. We are very proud of our female attorneys’ involvement not only in the legal community but also in the general community of St. Cloud and surrounding areas. Susan Dege is the Vice President of Bylaws for the Forum of Executive Women and Treasurer of Minnesota Women Lawyers Central Chapter; LeAnne Miller is the Stearns/Benton Bar Vice President and Membership Chair for Inns of Court; Sarah Smith - Larkin is the current President of the Minnesota Women Lawyers Central Chapter as well as the past President of the New Lawyers Association; and Laurel Pugh volunteers for Reading is Fundamental and is an active member of the Women Lawyers Central Chapter. LeAnne Miller and Sarah Smith-Larkin have both been named Rising Stars by Minnesota Law & Politics. The increased population and growth of St. Cloud continues to afford the firm with new challenges and opportunities to remain involved and active in St. Cloud and the surrounding communities.
