MWL occasionally receives requests for our mailing list from other organizations and businesses.  If you prefer not to have your information released, please complete the following items:

include my name on mailing lists made available to business, such as MBNA credit card services (for the MWL credit card), local businesses, political candidates, etc.

include my name on mailing lists made available to non-profit organizations, such as the Children's Law Center, MN Advocates for Human Rights, etc.

Membership Dues Summary

Membership dues are based on a sliding scale, depending on how many years you have been admitted to the bar.  Several specialty levels are also available.  Choose the level that most closely fits your situation. 

MWL offers a special thanks to those members who join at the Patron or Sustaining membership level.  This increased financial assistance provides MWL with vital support for its ongoing events and programs.  MWL is pleased to thank its Patron and Sustaining members each year in With Equal Right and at it's Annual Meeting.

Admitted to the Bar 4-6 years $75
Admitted to the Bar 7-10 years $100
Admitted to the Bar 11 - 15 years $110
Admitted to the Bar 16+ years $125

Patron Member $250
Law Student $25
Under $55,000/year income $25
Non-Metro Area $50
Retired $55
Special Circumstance*  
Non-Attorney Associate Membership** $25

*Special Circumstance:  A member who does not meet the “Under $55,000/year income” category, but cannot afford their regular dues category, may be eligible for a “special circumstance” membership.  Members should submit a written request to MWL, explaining their current circumstance and suggesting an alternate dues amount. Do not send dues payment until the request has been considered by MWL.  MWL will notify the member of the approved membership dues level. 

**Non-Attorney Associate Membership:  Legal staff and other “non-attorney” individuals who are interested in supporting the mission of MWL are invited to join the organization.  This is a non-voting membership.

MWL Voter Outreach Fund**

The MWL Voter Outreach Fund (VOF) provides financial support for MWL's judicial election endorsements and voter outreach and educational activities.  Voter guides, informational writings and the voter outreach website are just a few of the projects funded by the VOF.   Please consider a donation to the VOF to help MWL inform Minnesota's voting public about judicial elections.

**The Voter Outreach Fund is a campaign fund, and therefore donations are not tax deductible. Also, we are unable to accept donations from corporations. Only donations from individuals or political action committees may be accepted.
