MWL Seeks Nominations View Board of Director Position Descriptions HERE MWL President Megan Hertzler recently appointed members to the 2010-2011 MWL Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee is charged with recommending a slate of candidates to the Minnesota Women Lawyers membership for the 2010-2011 Board of Directors. The election will be held at MWL’s 38th Annual Meeting to be held on May 12th, 2010 at Windows on Minnesota in downtown Minneapolis (80 South 8th Street, IDS Center, 50th Floor). Terms commence on July 1, 2010. Nominations are being sought for five (5) Board of Director positions; each are two-year terms. Nominations are also being sought for the positions of President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer, each are one-year terms. (Descriptions of each Board position are available at www.mwlawyers.org). To qualify, the nominee must be a member in good standing with MWL. Candidates for President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer may not be members of the Nominating Committee. MWL has established general standards to be considered by MWL's Nominating Committee in recommending a slate of candidates for the 2010-2011 Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, or if you would like to nominate another MWL member, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee. Nominations may also be submitted directly to the MWL office. Submissions must include a letter of interest or nomination letter, along with a candidate resume. Completed nominations must by received in the MWL office by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010. The 2010-2011 slate of candidates will be announced on the MWL website and in the April 2010 issue of With Equal Right.
