2007 MWL Holiday Benefit
MWL will host its 19th Annual Holiday
Benefit on Thursday, November 29th, 2007 at the University of St. Thomas School
of Law in Minneapolis, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Over the past eighteen years,
MWL has raised more than $75,000 to support the work of groups that advocate for
victims of violence. Funds raised from the Holiday Benefit are split evenly
between the two beneficiaries, with a small percentage going to the Minnesota
Coalition for Battered Women. This year’s beneficiaries are the McLeod Alliance
for Victims of Domestic Violence of Hutchinson; and SEWA-AIFW (Asian Indian
Family Wellness) of Fridley.

This year the event will be highlighted by holiday music and vendor tables
displaying unique holiday gifts, all as you mingle among friends and MWL
members. MWL’s Program Committee encourages all members to attend the Holiday
Benefit, along with colleagues, friends and family members. The event promises
to be a festive evening, filled with music, hors d’oeuvres, unique shopping
opportunities, and great conversation, all while providing support to victims of
violence.
