Seminar Description:
Clients and employees frequently give feedback that they do not feel “listened
to.” How can we improve our concentration and listening skills to capture vital
information and strengthen key business relationships? Listening is at the
heart of all communication and can improve effectiveness immediately. Listening
skills are a cornerstone principle of the Think on the Spot! approach, and this
program can help participants to:
·
Concentrate and pay attention
·
Notice body language and context
·
Make eye contact
·
Let others talk and don't interrupt
·
React and respond
·
Withhold judgment and accept new ideas
·
Improve ability to connect with others
Already a great listener? Even great listeners
can gain strategies for further success. Listening helps us acquire and retain
knowledge and gain insight into others' motivations and desires. With this
knowledge and understanding, we can reach agreement more effectively, be more
persuasive, and build more effective relationships. Being aware of how we are
coming across to others can assist with our own effectiveness
