The Minnesota Judicial Branch has Released it's 2017 Annual Report to the Community

In its 2017 Judicial Branch Annual Report to the Community, the Minnesota Supreme Court once again released attorney demographic data related to race/ethnicity and gender, collected by the Minnesota Lawyer Registration Office in 2017. Read the full report HERE.

"Minnesota Women Lawyers applauds the efforts by the Minnesota Judicial Branch to collect data related to women and minority lawyers in Minnesota," stated Minnesota Women Lawyers President Kendra Brodin. "The continued effort to collect this data is an important step in ensuring progress for diversity in the legal profession." Additionally, information about the MWL Equity Committee's Gender Data Project which provided the first baseline count of women attorneys in Minnesota, as well as the Committee's continuing research efforts related to women in the law, is available here: 

Minnesota Women Lawyers is completing the Gender Data Project again this year, and we are thrilled to add our data to the conversation.
