MWL Northeastern Chapter
Developed in Fall 2007, the Northeastern Chapter includes MWL
members in the counties of Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Lake, Pine and St. Louis. The
Chapter tyically meets the last Tuesday of each month, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Porters
Restaurant in Duluth, Minnesota.

The MWL Northeastern Chapter Second Semi-Annual Social
The Northeastern Chapter hosted its Second Semi-Annual Social on
May 21, 2009, at Blackwoods on the Lake in Duluth. Cash and book donations were accepted for the Little Red Book Shelf, which stocks bookshelves around the
Duluth area for children in need.
Seasonal Gala
Members of the MWL Northeastern Chapter celebrated the holidays
at its Seasonal Gala on November 20th. With 25
members in attendance, the event was held at the Northland Country Club in
Duluth. Special thanks to Mary Ann Ulishney and to Wells Fargo - Private Client
Services who sponsored the event. Chapter members were asked to bring a food
item for the food shelf and/or a book for the YWCA's Young Motherhood Program.
The chapter collected more than 30 books and 40 pounds of food.
