MWL’s Mission:
To secure the full and equal participation of women in the legal profession and in a just society.



MWL Organizational Values: 

·         Women lawyers face common challenges, and can teach and learn from one another. 

·         A strong community of women lawyers throughout Minnesota is essential to the legal profession and the administration of justice. 

·         It is important to celebrate the individual and collective achievements of women in the legal profession, and to support them throughout their education and career.   

·         The legal profession and society benefit from promoting and valuing diversity in all its forms. 

·         It is important to develop and support women in leadership roles. 

·         It is necessary to advocate for the full equality of women in society and to promote initiatives that eliminate all forms of discrimination. 

·         The practice of law is enriched when lawyers fully participate in the lives of their families and communities.
